Singapore vibes 🌆
The art deco vibes are lekker, and the pool's a real jol! Loved how the reception's all open to the street, felt like I could kuier with everyone.
But the check-in was a bit of a schlep, had to wait ages for my room to be ready.

The hotel has a vibrant and colorful decor.
My experience at The Great Madras was incredibly disappointing. The reception area was stuffy and didn't offer a comfortable waiting area. Not to mention, the staff were completely unhelpful, providing stock answers to my queries without any intention to assist. It felt as if they were dismissing me outright when I asked for early check-in information.

Had a blast with friends! We checked out the amazing Cantonese Opera House and the bustling food markets nearby. The location is a major plus, super close to everything. Definitely recommend trying the on-site café for quick bites.
The air conditioning could really use some improvement. it felt hot at times. Just a heads up.

The location is convenient, situated just a short walk from two train stations, making travel around the city easy. Comfort was found in the bed and pillows, which were better than those experienced at previous hotels. the overall cleanliness left much to be desired, with issues in communal bathrooms and an unexpected lack of basic amenities. Noise from surroundings was disruptive, and the absence of standard mobile chargers was inconvenient.
